Italy Trip 2017 Part 3 - Pictures

Pope Francis' passing and the pictures on the television made me think about our last trip to Italy. I had a difficult time writing about this trip because there was just so much to think about. Also, I forgot to publish part 2 and I did not post any pictures. So pictures today while I remember Italy! It was an interesting and wonderful trip. Fiumicino - I cannot find any pictures from

Rome - St. Peter's Basilica - I had to add the Pieta. This is from a Nov. 2004 trip - If you are going to the Vatican, also plan to go to St. Peter's Basilica!

Rome - The Vatican - There is so much art and history in the Vatican! Here are a couple of pictures. Images cannot do it justice, just go.

Naples - Pizza

Salerno - Pompeii, Paestum, Almalfi Coast

Florence - Not many photos - just enjoying walking around and eating! One of the squares near our apartment and a Botticelli from the Uffizi.
